Efficient 3D printing of large components with versatile material selection

Regardless of whether materials require a heated build chamber or whether the filament requires process drying – the TiQ 8 provides the solution as standard. However, the 3D printer is particularly suitable for the economical printing of large components made from fiber-reinforced or high-temperature materials. At innovatiQ, we have made a selection for you, e.g. the heat-resistant polycarbonate (PC) certified for railway applications, as well as PEEK CF and PEKK. High Temperature 3D Printer – Made in Germany

The TiQ 8 3D printer has an actively heated process chamber that can be operated at temperatures of up to 165 °C as required. This allows particularly demanding materials with dimensions of 500 x 400 x 450 mm to be processed. E.g. high-performance materials such as our PC, PEKK or PEEK-CF.

Integrated material drying and active dehumidification

The integrated material dry-keeping unit actively dehumidifies up to 55° C and keeps hydrophilic filament in the required dry state. Keeping the material dry increases process reliability and supports the surface quality of the printed components.

GestiQ-Pro: the intuitive CNC control system from innovatiQ

GestiQ-Pro – the intuitive CNC control for all industrial 3D printers from innovatiQ. GestiQ-Pro supports you in the production process and simplifies the daily use with the 3D printing system. All relevant functions of the 3D printing system can be operated via a large 12-inch touch display. The clearly arranged menu navigation shows you all applications at a glance and helps you step by step with the execution of the functions. Many functions are available as SmartFunctions in GestiQ-Pro. SmartFunctions are programmed sequences that combine several functional steps, making the TiQ 8 much more effective to use. Furthermore, SmartFunctions avoid potential errors in daily use.

Role-based user access in GestiQ-Pro

The TiQ 8 3D printer is universal and versatile. For better utilization, you can allow multiple departments to use the 3D printing system. GestiQ-Pro supports you with a role-based access system. I.e. each user (even from different departments) can be assigned a defined authorization. GestiQ-Pro thus separates the safety areas of the printer from the application areas. To do this, you can choose between different modes – simple user mode, expert mode or admin or security mode.
Of course, GestiQ-Pro meets all requirements for the safe operation of an industrial machine.

Overview of SmartFunctions

SmartSpeed: fast, faster – but reliable
SmartSpeed is the unique adaptive adjustment of the print speed without jeopardizing the quality of the print result. SmartSpeed automatically regulates the printing speed (Vmax) depending on how good the extrusion is. This is done by an algorithm which processes the previously collected data of the filament feeder and the extrusion in the printhead. The printing process can thus be dynamically controlled. The result of the Maxi Opti principle: Maximum printing speed with optimal feeding means maximum process reliability.

SmartTrack measures the filament feed with the help of sensors.
SmartTrack measures the filament feed with the help of sensors. The material requirement is continuously monitored and the sensor monitoring system reports the conveying speed to the control system.

SmartStart: Precision, more than to the point!
SmartStart reduces set-up time and therefore your workload thanks to fully automated meshbed leveling.

CoreLine: the new printhead from innovatiQ sets the standard for precision

The entire optimally controlled process in the interplay of material transport by means of a quad drive, sensor-controlled monitoring and thermal processing of the material in the DualHead print head of the TiQ 8 enables reliability and precision even in continuous operation. All recommended material combinations can be processed thanks to the open material platform. It is precisely in the combination of fiber-reinforced material in the primary extruder and support material in the secondary extruder that the interaction between the QuadDrive and the control system really comes into its own.

Furthermore, the QuadDrive print head is particularly suitable for materials that require a temperature of up to 165° C in the build chamber. The printing process in the TiQ 8 is supported by the various assistance systems, previously known as SmartFunctions.

The QuadDrive print head in the TiQ 8 is made from a high-quality alloy. This makes it particularly durable and low-maintenance. A cost benefit for you.

Integrated material drykeeping in the TiQ 8: essential for the process-reliable processing of hydrophilic materials

At innovatiQ, we give the highest priority to process reliability during the printing process. Many functions and components in the printing system ensure this. A work step upstream of the printing process – material dry keeping with active dehumidification up to 55°C – is essential for the successful 3D printing of water-absorbent (hydrophilic) materials. The filament therefore needs to be kept dry and stored in the best possible way. This increases process reliability in 3D printing and prevents the so-called “oozing effect” on the surface. Dry keepingis a recognized upstream process in 3D production to improve the processing of plastic filaments. In additive manufacturing with highly hydrophilic filament material, it is important that the filament remains “dry” throughout the entire printing process.

Filament dryer and storage chamber

The integrated filament drykeeping unit with active dehumidification up to 55° C also functions as a storage chamber for the filament material. The material is fed internally into the print head in an encapsulated process. innovatiQ has chosen the most sophisticated method for material storage with the integrated dry storage unit. Two functions are combined to ensure that the filament remains in an optimum, dry state before extrusion:

  1. the ‘warming up’ and
  2. the “active dehumidification”

Both processes run completely autonomously in the drykeeping chamber. Thus, the improved properties of the filament are constantly maintained. Perfect starting conditions for your daily printing tasks.
