TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) is the most widely used filament material for the production of flexible and elastic components in additive manufacturing. TPU 95A filament, with a Shore A hardness of 95, is particularly suitable for a wide range of applications due to its durability, wear and abrasion resistance, and chemical resistance.
For example, this material is ideal for the production of cable sheathing or as a coating for haptically pleasant surfaces on vehicle interiors. TPU 95 is very flexible and achieves an elongation at break of up to 580% according to DIN EN ISO 527. In terms of processability, this filament enables a faster and easier printing process.
Fields of application:
Flexible functional prototypes or end-use applications, medical e.g. flexible electronics and wristbands, automotive e.g. gaskets, plugs, vehicle interiors, electrical e.g. cable sheathing, consumer goods, protection of technical devices e.g. cell phone covers.
